Welcome to the Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD) Technical Training. The purpose of this workshop is to provide a crosswalk of NC FAST training and the revised ABAWD policy requirements and procedures. The “Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents (ABAWD) 

Policy Training”  is available on the Learning Gateway which provides ABAWD policy training. Our goal is to link NC FAST functionality and ABAWD Policy section 245 of the FNS Policy Manual.

FNS Error Rate Reduction training. 

This training was developed by the Operational Support Team Representatives. As you might know, the State’s Quality Control error rate for both active and Capers, (which used to be called negatives) is unacceptable.  A review of the error cases identified that most error cases were associated with income policy.  Therefore, our topics today will be related the policy relating to income.

The Purpose of this webinar is to provide clarification on how to properly generate FNS Notices and alleviate the generating of incorrect or blank notices.

We also hope to provide a better understanding of the policy requirements related to informing all applicants/recipients of their correct benefit amount, certification period as well as their rights and responsibilities including procedures for requesting fair hearings.
